Making Inferences – Reading Comprehension Passages

Making inferences is a skill that students need lots and lots of practice with. This set of passages is designed to get your students to draw on their inferential skills to answer the questions. Every single question requires students to make inferences by searching for clues in the passage that they then connect with their existing knowledge.

Each passage comes in 2 levels; the second level contains longer passages, more challenging vocabulary and a smaller font size. This allows you to differentiate this activity for your students. There are 12 different passages included as well as a booklet cover.
